The marriage line is a small line found by the left side of the Mount of Mercury, over the percussion-edge of the hand. These lines are placed horizontally at the percussion of the hand between the Line of heart and the base of the Mount of Mercury.
Small lines found between the Line of Heart and the Mercury finger, are the Lines of Marriage.
Its known as, The Lines of Affection, The Lines of Union & The Lines of Sexuality as well. In fact it has nothing to do with sexuality. It merely represents the opportunities has in his life for marriage-deep attachment, which may be resulted out of deep love from a person of opposite sex. They may reveal the sexual potency of an individual. They reveal vital aspects of sex-partnership, as well.

Mere presence of the line of marriage does not guarantee marriage. It reflect more of attraction and love, as compared to sexuality. (1). The Line of Marriage :- The horizontal line parallel to the Line of Heart, rising from the edge-percussion to the Mount of Mercury. A normal Line of Marriage is one which is neither too broad nor too thin and does not rise over 1/3rd of Mercury.
(2). A line parallel to the Line of Head, just below it, merging into the Line of Fate :- It represents deep love, turned into marriage.
(3). A line on Luna, rising up and merging into the Fate Line :- Favourable marriage. A love affair turning into marriage
(4). Determination of the age of marriage :: (4.1). Line of Marriage lying close to the Heart Line :- 14-21 years for girls, 18-25 for boys, (4.2). Line of Union is in between the Heart Line and the little finger :- 21-28 for girls, 25-28 for boys, (4.3). Above the middle gap :- Late marriage.
Gap between the Heart Line and the Mercury finger is considered to be 50 years, for males (a male can reproduce till he survives) and 45 years for females, nearly. Right age of marriage for boys is 25-28 years and 18-21 years for girls.

विधुर या विधवा योग :: यदि विवाह रेखा आगे चलकर ह्रदय रेखा से मिले या भाग्य रेखा टूटी हो अथवा रेखा पर काला धब्बा हो तो ऐसा जातक विधवा या विधुर होता है।

प्रेम विवाह :: ज्योतिष में प्रेम विवाह का उल्लेख है। प्रेयसी का विचार पंचम भाव से किया जाता है और सप्तम भाव से विवाह का विचार। यदि सप्तमेश का पंचमेश के साथ किसी भी प्रकार का संबध या राशि परिवर्तन होता है तो प्रेम विवाह होता है। जब स्त्री की कुण्डली में मंगल और पुरुष की कुण्डली में शुक्र मित्र राशि में रहता है तो प्रेम विवाह होता है और सफल भी रहता है। स्त्री जातकों के लिए प्रेयसी के बदले प्रेमी शब्द का प्रयोग किया जाता है और ऐसा माना जाता है कि पुरुषों का आगमन मंगल के प्रभाव से और स्त्रियों का जन्म शुक्र के प्रभाव से होता है। यदि कुण्डली में कहीं भी सप्तम भाव के स्वामी और लाभ भाव के स्वामी की युति हो या परस्पर दृष्टि संबंध हो तो भी प्रेम विवाह हो जाता है। पंचमेश व सप्तमेश की युति यदि केन्द्र या त्रिकोण भावों में हो और इन दोनों पर वृहस्पति की पूर्ण दृष्टि हो तो यह निश्चित प्रेम विवाह का योग बनता है।
