व्यक्ति अकेले ही पैदा होता है, अकेले ही मरता है, अपने कर्मों के शुभ अशुभ परिणाम अकेले ही भोगता है और अकेले ही नरक में जाता है या सद्गति प्राप्त करता है।[चाणक्य नीति 5.13]One was born alone and will die alone. None will accompany him to the hell or heavens. He alone will qualify for Salvation as per his deeds.
No two people are alike. Even the twins, triplets, quadruplets have to under go different cycles-phases, strokes of luck, by virtue of destiny. His deeds accumulated since birth, to the present moment and those performed currently will decide his destiny further. His evil-wicked actions will render him in the hells and virtues, pious, righteous actions will award him heavens. Further purification-sublimation of the sins, equanimity, asceticism will bring him closer to the Ultimate, the Eternal. Karm-Gyan and Bhakti Yog will help him achieving the Param Pita Par Brahm Permashwer-the Almighty.

करम गति टारे नहीं ही टरे।
One is bound-destined to undergo the impact of deeds, previous, present-current and accumulated in this birth.
However it be modified due to worship-prayers of God, deities-demigods, pilgrimage, charity, donations, virtuous-righteous behaviour, helping others.
विशिष्ट भाग्य रेखा :: यह रेखा जातक को करोड़पति बना सकती है। यह रेखा शनि और बृहस्पति की संधि से शुरू होकर हृदय रेखा के ऊपर तक जाती है। कई बार यह GIRDLE OF VENUS-शुक्र मुद्रिका का एक हिस्सा प्रतीत होती है। शुक्र मुद्रिका यदि टूटी हुई न हो तो नुकसान नहीं करती। टूटी हुई शुक्र मुद्रिका परेशानी का कारण होती है। गहरी हल्का गुलाबी रंग लिए हुए यह रेखा ज्यादा शुभ फल प्रदान करती है। सूर्य और भाग्य रेखाएँ इसकी शक्ति को बढ़ा देती हैं। अँगूठे का पहला पर्व यदि विकसित और लम्बा तथा कम मुड़ने वाला हो तो ज्यादा अच्छा होगा। अँगूठा और बृहस्पति की अँगुली 900 का कोण बनाये तो उत्तम है। मस्तिष्क और जीवन रेखा की उच्चवर्ती शाखाएँ इसका प्रभाव बढ़ा देती हैं। हाथ में आकाँक्षा रेखा जातक को पैसे के साथ-साथ ताकत भी प्रदान करती है। हृदय और मस्तिष्क रेखा के बीच का क्षेत्र इन्द्र क्षेत्र कहलाता है। इसमें गुणक चिन्ह-CROSS हो तो जातक को सांसारिक सुख, विषय-वासनाओं की तृप्ति भी प्राप्त होती है।
इस रेखा का मतलब ये नहीं है कि धन छप्पर फाड़कर आयेगा। मेहनत-परिश्रम करोगे तो निश्चयी रूप से करोड़पति बन जाओगे। यदि सूर्य और भाग्य रेखाओं पर अशुभ चिन्ह यथा यव, पड़ी हुई रेखाएँ, जाली हो तो इसका असर काम हो जाता है।

PROGRESS LINES उन्नति रेखाएँ :: जीवन रेखा की उच्चवर्ती शाखाएँ जातक की आर्थिक उन्नति और पद लाभ में सहायक होती हैं। जीवन रेखा से निकली हुई बृहस्पति पर पहुँचने वाली रेखा जातक की इच्छाओं की पूर्ति के साथ-साथ उच्च पद भी दिलाती है। ऐसा जातक उच्चाधिकारी भी बन सकता है। सूर्य और भाग्य रेखा पर उपस्थित गुणक चिन्ह उस विशेष आयु में जातक को नाम, प्रसिद्धि, धन-दौलत भी दिलाता है। चंद्र क्षेत्र से विकसित मस्तिष्क रेखा के समान्तर चलती हुई रेखा यदि भाग्य रेखा में जुड़ जाये तो जातक का उत्तम विवाह उसे तरक्की अवश्य ही प्रदान करेगी। विवाह रेखा यदि सूर्य पर्वत पर पहुँचे तो भी यही फल होगा। जीवन रेखा के अन्त में एक यवकार, मछली की आकृति मच्छ रेखा कहलाती है। यह बहुत शुभ फल दायक है और जातक को जीवन के दूसरे तीसरे हिस्से में धन-दौलत दिलाएगी। उठा हुआ सूर्य, शनि और बृहस्पति अत्यधिक लाभप्रद होगा।

हाथ के किसी भी भाग से शुरू हुई रेखा पर्वत पर जाती है तो यह सूर्य रेखा होती है। यह जातक को मान-सम्मान, धन-सम्पत्ति, वाहन और सफलता प्रदान करती है। इसी प्रकार शनि पर्वत पर पहुँचने वाली कोई भी रेखा भाग्य रेखा कहलाती है।
रेखा का सीधा, कटा न होना, द्वीप मुक्त होना शुभ फल प्रदान करता है।
अगर रेखायें मणिबन्ध से प्रारम्भ होती हैं तो जातक अत्यन्त शोभाग्य शाली होगा। केतु क्षेत्र से शुरू होने पर 5 साल की उम्र से फल दायक होगा। राहु क्षेत्र में मौजूद होने से फल प्राप्ति लगभग 18-35 वर्ष में होगी। मस्तिष्क रेखा से प्रारम्भ होने का तात्पर्य है 35 साल, हृदय रेखा से शुरू होने पर 50 साल में भाग्योदय होगा।
अगर हाथ में सूर्य रेखा या भाग्य रेखा न भी हों तो जातक को अपने परिश्रम से सफलता मिलती है और रेखाओं का उदय शुरू हो जाता है।
इन रेखाओं का फल इनके शुरू होने के स्थान के अनुरूप होता है। शुक्र से शुरू हुई रेखा नाते-रिश्तेदारों, माता-पिता की मदद, चन्द्र से शुरू हुई रेखा परिचितों से सहायता, उच्च मङ्गल-धर्म क्षेत्र से शुरू हुई रेखा मस्तिष्क-विवेक शक्ति, राहु क्षेत्र से शुरू हुई रेखा पुरुषार्थ, मङ्गल से शुरू हुई रेखा जमीन, धन-सम्पत्ति को प्रदर्शित करती है।
पर्वतों का उठा-दबा होना, अँगूठे का सुदृढ़ या लचीला हों, बृहस्पति की अँगुली का अँगूठे के साथ बना कोण भी भाग्य के उतर-चढ़ाव को प्रभावित करता है।
हथेली का नम्र या कठोर होना भी निर्णायक भूमिका अदा करते हैं।
भाग्य रेखा का सूर्य रेखा का समानान्तर होना सोने में सुहागा जैसा ही है।

LUCK LINE भाग्य रेखा ::
(1.1). यह मणिबन्ध से प्रारम्भ होती है। गहरा काला रंग लिये हुए यह रेखा जक को उसके पूर्वजों द्वारा किये जाने वाले कार्य करवाती है। जातक मूर्तिकला आदि के माध्यम से अपना परिवार भली भाँति चला सकता है। हल्का गुलाबी रंग होने से जातक को अन्य कार्यों से भी सफलता मिल सकती है। सूर्य रेखा भी स्पष्ट रूप से होने पर जातक नाम और पैसा दोनों कमायेगा।
(1.2). यह केतु से प्रारम्भ होती है। इसका फल भी लगभग उपरोक्त ही होता है और जातक प्रारभ्ध से ही नियंत्रित होता है।
(1.3). यह जीवन रेखा से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक हर किसी की मदद करने को तत्पर रहेगा।
(1.4). यह शुक्र पर्वत पर तारे से प्रारम्भ होती है। पिता की मृत्यु के बाद जातक का पालन-पोषण किसी करीबी रिश्तेदार द्वारा किया जायेगा।
(1.5). यह शुक्र पर्वत से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक परिश्रम और किसी करीबी व्यक्ति के माध्यम से जीवन निर्वाह करेगा।
(1.6-7). यह जीवन रेखा से प्रारम्भ होने वाली उच्च वर्ती शाखाएं हैं और अक्सर जातक की उन्नति का वक्त निर्धारित करती हैं। जातक को इस समय पर विशेष लाभ होगा। नौकरी में होने पर पदोन्नति होगी।
(1.8). यह इंद्र क्षेत्र से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक को जीवन में देर (35-50 वर्ष की आयु) से जीवन यापन का योग होगा।
(1.9). यह मस्तिष्क रेखा से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक का भाग्य 35 वर्ष की आयु में जाग्रत होगा।
(1.10). यह निम्न मंगल से प्रारम्भ होती है। भाग्य देर से उदय होगा और जातक भूमि, शारीरिक परिश्रम, सेना, पुलिस आदि के माध्यम से धन अर्जित करेगा।

| भाग्य रेखा के उद्गम स्थल |
(1.11). यह ह्रदय रेखा से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक को सफलता 50 की उम्र के बाद हासिल होगी। उसके मित्र, सम्बन्धी, जानने वाले सहयोग करेंगे।
(1.12). यह राहु क्षेत्र से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक परिश्रम से धन लाभ प्राप्त करेगा।
(1.13). यह चंद्र से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक की खुद की मेहनत उसे आगे बढ़ायेगी। (1.14). यह धर्म क्षेत्र अथवा उच्च मंगल से उदय होती है। जातक की रूचि धर्म-कर्म में होगी।
(1.15). यह बुध पर्वत से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक अपनी बुद्धि बल से धन अर्जित करेगा।
(1.16). यह सूर्य पर्वत से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक के प्रशंसनीय कार्य उसकी मदद करेंगे।
(1.17). यह बृहस्पति पर्वत से प्रारम्भ होती है। जातक पर गुरु की कृपा होगी। वह धार्मिक होगा। यह रेखा बृहस्पति मुद्रिका के रूप में भी कार्य करती है। जातक अच्छी सामाजिक-राजनैतिक स्थिति वाला व्यक्ति होते हुए भी हर वक्त दूसरों के निशाने पर रहेगा।
अकेली भाग्य रेखा ही भविष्य का निर्धारण नहीं करेगी। यही पर्वत सामान्य या विकसित हैं तो भी वह सफलता अर्जित करेगा। हाथ चौकोर होने पर जातक को प्रशिक्षित कारीगर की तरह सफलता मिलेगी। राहु, निम्न मंगल, जीवन रेखा, केतु से निकली रेखा और मणिबंध से निकली रेख उसे सहयोग देंगी।
हाथ की बनावट यदि लम्बाई लिये हुई तो उसे कला, लेखन में सफलता मिलेगी बशर्ते उसकी मस्तिष्क रेखा चंद्र पर झुकी हो, उँगलियाँ पतली, नोंकदार हों।
गहरी काला रंग लिए हुए रेखा जातक को शरीरिक श्रम के माध्यम से धन कमाने में मदद करेगी। गुलाबी रंग की रेखाएं जातक को मस्तिष्क, बुद्धि के प्रयोग से धनार्जन में सहयोग करेंगी।
अंगूठा दृढ़ और 90 अंश का कोण बनाने पर जातक व्यवहार कुशल और दृढ़ निश्चयी होगा।
पर्वत की सामान्य स्थिति अंगुली के नीचे बाचों बीच होगी। दायें-बायें होने पर पड़ोसी पर्वत का प्रभाव होगा। अंगुली के पास या दूर होने से भी प्रभाव बदल जायेगा। पर्वत बहुत ज्यादा उठा हुआ या दबा हुआ होने पर विपरीत प्रभाव दिखायेगा।

| भाग्य को प्रभावित करने वाली रेखाएं |
(2.1). भाग्य रेखा केतु क्षेत्र से निकल कर शनि पर्वत पर जा रही है।
(2.2). यह रेखा चंद्र पर्वत से निकलकर मस्तिष्क रेखा के समांतर, मुख्य भाग्य रेखा में जुड़ गई है। जातक का विवाह बहुत अच्छे व्यक्ति से होगा। दोनों मिलकर जीवन को सुचारु रूप से चलायेंगे।
(2.3). मंगल से आने वाली रेखा विपरीत लिंगी से सम्बन्ध के कारण भाग्य में दोष उत्पन्न करेगी। अकसर घर की औरतें अपने पति और बच्चों के मार्ग की बाधा बन जाती हैं।
(2.4). विपरीत लिंगी से सम्बन्ध होगा।
(2.5). कोई आपको पसन्द करने वाला सम्बन्ध बनायेगा और भाग्य दोष भी उत्पन्न करेगा। सम्पत्ति का योग भी होगा।
(2.6). विपरीत लिंगी से सम्बन्ध बनेगा।
(2.7). शुक्र से प्रारम्भ होने वाली यह रेखा भाग्य रेखा, मस्तिष्क रेखा, ह्रदय रेखा, सूर्य रेखा को काटकर बुध क्षेत्र में विवाह रेखा की ओर अग्रसर हो रही है। यह हर तरीके से नुकसान पहुँचायेगी। विवाह रेखा को काटने पर सम्बन्ध विच्छेद करा देगी।
(2.8). निम्न मंगल के ऊपर से शुरू होकर जाने वाली यह रेखा भी उपरोक्त प्रभाव दिखायेगी।
(2.9). यह शनि मुद्रिका है। यह जातक को भक्ति प्रदान करती है। बृहस्पति मुद्रा से इसका संयोग इसके प्रभाव को और अधिक बढ़ा देगा। इसके प्रभाव से जातक विषय वासनाओं से दूर हटकर, अपने काम-धंधे और व्यवसाय को नजरंदाज कर सकता है।
(2.10). यह टूटी हुई शनि मुद्रिका है और अशुभ फल प्रदान करती है।
(2.11). शनि के ऊपर पड़ी हुई रेखा परेशानी पैदा करेगी।

| भाग्य को प्रभावित करने वाले चिन्ह |
(3.1). शनि पर्वत पर तारा घातक है। गाँधी और हिटलर के हाथ में यह चिन्ह था। अंगुली के पहले पौरूए पर स्थित होने पर ऐसा होना निश्चित है। अगर इसको वर्ग चिन्ह ने घेरा हुआ है तो जातक सुरक्षित रहेगा। तारा केवल शनि पर्वत पर विपरीत फल देता है अन्य स्थानों पर यह लाभ, मान-सम्मान प्रदान करता है।
(3.2). यह तारा जातक को धन लाभ, तरक्की देगा।
(3.3). गुणक या धन चिन्ह भी शनि पर घातक है। वर्ग चिन्ह से घिरा होने पर सुरक्षा भी निश्चित है। यह चिन्ह बृहस्पति पर होने पर अत्यधिक लाभप्रद है। यह पारिवारिक सुख को द्योतक है।
(3.4). यह गुणक चिन्ह अशुभ फल देता है।
(3.5). यह वर्ग चिन्ह जातक के शनि पर्वत पर तारे अथवा चिन्ह को समेटे हुए है और उसकी सुरक्षा करता है।
(3.6). वर्ग चिन्ह एक उम्र मए जातक के काम-धंधे, व्यवसाय में उसकी सुरक्षा करेगा।
(3.7). यह द्वीप अशुभ है।
(3.8). भाग्य रेखा को काटने वाली कोई भी रेखा जातक के लिए परेशानी का सबब है। मस्तिष्क रेखा और हृदय रेखा से इसका संयोग किसी भी प्रकार की हानि नहीं पहुँचाता।
(3.9). यह त्रिभुज भाग्य रेखा पर जिस उम्र में होगा उसके सौभाग्य का सूचक, लाभ, सम्पत्ति के अर्जन का प्रतीक है।
एक से अधिक रेखाएँ के कारण जातक एक से अधिक क्षेत्रों में व्यवसाय करेगा।
सूर्य रेखा के उत्तक होने से जातक को सफलता अधिक प्राप्त होगी। भाग्य रेखा का रंग काला होने पर जातक पैतृक व्यवसाय कर सकता है।
गुलाबी रंग होने अपर जातक मानसिक व्यवसाओं में रूचि रखेगा।

| शनि की सापेक्ष स्थिति |
(1). सामान्य स्थिति में शनि शनि की अँगुली-मध्यमा के तीसरे पौरूए से थोड़ा हटकर होगा।
(2). इस स्थिति में यह मध्यमा के बेहद करीब है।
(3). यह हृदय रेखा के बेहद करीब है।
(4). यह सूर्य की ओर उपस्थित है और सूर्य इसे प्रभावित कर रहा है। जातक जीवन में सफलता हासिल करेगा यदि यह सामान्य अथवा हल्का सा उठा है, अत्यधिक उठा होने पर हानि की संभावना बढ़ती है।
(5). यह बृहस्पति की नजदीक है। यह स्थित जातक को भक्ति, प्रशासनिक योग्यता प्रदान करती है यदि शनि सामान्य उठा है, हल्का उठा होने पर यह प्रभाव अधिक होगा। अत्यधिक उठा होने पर नुकसान करेगा।
दबा हुआ शनि हमेशां दुष्प्रभाव दिखाता है।
जातक की ईश्वर में भक्ति और आस्था उसके भाग्य के दोषों को दूर करेगी।
गणपति वन्दना, जातक के मार्ग की विघ्न-बाधाओं, समस्याओं और रुकावटों को दूर करेगी।
हनुमान जी की भक्ति उसे मङ्गल और शनि के दुष्प्रभावों से बचायेगी।
सूर्य की आराधना उसके भाग्य को सही दिशा देगी और सफलता का मार्ग प्रशस्त करेगी।
बुध को आराधना उसकी मानसिक संतुलन सही रखने के साथ साथ उसके व्यापार-उद्यम मए सहयोगी होगी।
हस्त रेखा परीक्षक को उसकी दक्षिणा अवश्य दें। उसका आशीर्वाद आपके सौभाग्य को जाग्रत करेगा। दक्षिणा के अभाव में लाभ के स्थान पर हानि की संभावना बढ़ जायेगी।

DESTINY-FATE प्रारब्ध-भाग्य :: Under the impact of the output, result, fruit, reward of his deeds in his previous lives, the living being could have done- achieved, whatever he liked.
Great Ascetics, clever, intelligent, prudent, mighty people have been found to be deprived off the fruits of their endeavours-efforts in the present birth as a result of evils committed by them in previous births. Obstacles, hindrances, troubles illness are the result of evils of previous births.
Imprudent, inferior, ignorant people who lack good qualities, virtues and without or low intelligence are seen to be associated with all sorts of amenities, luxuries, comforts in life without the blessings of anyone.
People indulged in brutality, cruelty, crime, deceit, misdeeds are found to be enjoying the comforts of life. There are the people, who do not work at all and still, the wealth flows towards them.
There are the people who make repeated, successive efforts, endeavours without success. They fail to obtain the desired commodity. Their wishes never materialise. It shows that the destiny is important.[Narad Puran]
Still, one should never depend upon destiny and continue his endeavours with firm determination honestly without loosing heart-steam.The organism takes birth and dies, by virtue of the remaining deeds in the previous lives. Who so ever has taken birth in this world will die; there is no doubt in it. Age, deeds, wealth, Education and death of the living being are fixed, while he is in the womb.
यमराज और गरुड़ जी की कथा :: एक बार यमराज और गरुड़ जी एक साथ थे, जब उन्होंने एक तोते को देखा। यमराज ने उसे घूर कर देखा और आगे बढ़ गये। गरुड़ जी ने तोते को देखा तो वह बोला कि उसे यमराज के घूरने से बहुत ज्यादा डर लग रहा है, अतः वे उसे कहीं दूर छोड़ आयें। गरुड़ जी ने तत्काल उसे हजारों मील दूर एक निर्जन पीपल की खोखर में छोड़ दिया और वापस यमराज के पास आये और पूछा कि उन्होंने तोते को घूर कर क्यों देखा था। यमराज ने कहा कि उस तोते की मौत हजारों मील दूर एक पीपल के पेड़ की खोखर में काले नाग के खाने से लिखी हुई थी। इसीलिए उन्होंने यह सोचा कि कुछ ही पलों में वह तोता वहाँ तक कैसे पहुँचेगा?! अब गरुड़ जी ने कहा कि वो उसे अभी वहाँ छोड़ कर आये हैं। यमराज ने कहा कि वहाँ उस नाग ने तोते को खा लिया है।
मार्कण्डेय कथा :: भगवान् शिव के वरदान से मार्कण्डेय का जन्म हुआ। भगवान् शिव ने कहा कि वे मात्र 7 वर्ष तक जीयेंगे। मार्कण्डेय जी के पिता ने उन्हें भगवान् शिव की आराधना शिवलिंग के पास बैठने कर करने के लिये कहा। निर्धारित समय पर यमदूत आये। उनकी हिम्मत मार्कण्डेय जी ले जाने नहीं पड़ी। अब यमराज स्वयं आये और जैसे ही उन्होंने यमपाश फैंका भगवान् शिव प्रकट हो गये और यमराज से कहा कि तुम काल हो और में महाकाल हूँ। तुम वापस जाओ। मार्कण्डेय जी अब भी जीवित हैं और उनकी आयु लाखों वर्ष में है। ईश्वर आराधना और कर्म सत्कर्म के प्रभाव से प्रारब्ध को भी बदला जा सकता है।

प्रारब्ध और गरुड़ जी :: एक बार भगवान् श्री हरी विष्णु गरुड़ जी पर सवार होकर कैलाश पर्वत पर जा रहे थे। रास्ते में गरुड़ जी ने देखा कि एक ही दरवाजे पर दो बारातें ठहरी थीं। मामला उनके समझ में नहीं आया। फिर क्या था, पूछ बैठे प्रभु को। गरुड़ जी बोले! प्रभु ये कैसी अनोखी बात है कि विवाह के लिए कन्या एक और दो बारातें आई हैं। मेरी तो समझ में कुछ नहीं आ रहा है।
प्रभु बोले, "हाँ एक ही कन्या से विवाह के लिए दो अलग-अलग जगह से बारातें आई हैं। एक बारात पिता द्वारा पसन्द किये गये लड़के की है और दूसरी माता द्वारा पसन्द किये गये लड़के की है"। यह सुनकर गरुड़जी बोले :- आखिर विवाह किसके साथ होगा? प्रभु बोले, "जिसे माता ने पसन्द किया और बुलाया है उसी के साथ कन्या का विवाह होगा"। भगवान् की बातें सुनकर गरुड़ जी चुप हो गए और भगवान् को कैलाश पर पहुँचाकर कौतुहल वश पुनः उसी जगह आ गए जहाँ दोनों बारातें ठहरी थीं।
गरुड़ जी ने मन में विचार किया कि यदि मैं माता के बुलाए गए वर को यहाँ से हटा दूँ तो कैसे विवाह संभव होगा। फिर क्या था; उन्होंने भगवद्विधान को देखने की जिज्ञासा के लिए तुरन्त ही उस वर को उठाया और ले जाकर समुद्र के एक टापू पर धर दिए। ऐसा कर गरुड़ जी थोड़ी देर के लिए ठहरे भी नहीं थे कि उनके मन में अचानक विचार दौड़ा कि मैं तो इस लड़के को यहाँ उठा लाया हूँ पर यहाँ तो खाने-पीने की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं है, ऐसे में इस निर्जन टापू पर तो यह भूखा ही मर जाएगा और वहाँ सारी बारात मजे से छप्पन भोग का आनन्द लेंगी, यह कतई उचित नहीं है।
इसका पाप अवश्य ही मुझे लगेगा। मुझे इसके लिए भी खाने का कुछ इंतजाम तो करना ही चाहिए। यदि विधि का विधान देखना है तो थोड़ा परिश्रम तो मुझे करना ही पड़ेगा और ऐसा विचार कर वे वापस उसी स्थान पर फिर से आ गए।
इधर कन्या के घर पर स्थिति यह थी कि वर के लापता हो जाने से कन्या की माता को बड़ी निराशा हो रही थी। परन्तु अब भी वह अपने हठ पर अडिग थी। अतः कन्या को एक भारी टोकरी में बैठाकर ऊपर से फल-फूल, मेवा-मिष्ठान आदि सजा कर रख दिया, जिसमें कि भोजन-सामग्री ले जाने के निमित्त वर पक्ष से लोग आए थे। माता द्वारा उसी टोकरी में कन्या को छिपाकर भेजने के पीछे उसकी ये मंशा थी कि वर पक्ष के लोग कन्या को अपने घर ले जाकर वर को खोजकर उन दोनों का ब्याह करा देंगे। माता ने अपना यह भाव किसी तरह होने वाले समधि को सूचित भी कर दिया।
अब संयोग की बात देखिये, आंगन में रखी उसी टोकरी को जिसमे कन्या की माता ने विविध फल-मेवा, मिष्ठानादि से भर कर कन्या को छिपाया था, गरुड़ जी ने उसे भरा देखकर उठाया और ले उड़े। उस टोकरी को ले जाकर गरुड़ जी ने उसी निर्जन टापू पर जहाँ पहले से ही वर को उठा ले जाकर उन्होंने रखा था, वर के सामने रख दिया।
इधर भूख के मारे व्याकुल हो रहे वर ने ज्यों ही अपने सामने भोज्य सामग्रियों से भरी टोकरी को देखा तो बाज की तरह उस पर झपटा। उसने टोकरी से जैसे ही खाने के लिए फल आदि निकालना शुरू किया तो देखा कि उसमें सोलहों श्रृंगार किए वह युवती बैठी है जिससे कि उसका विवाह होना था। गरुड़ जी यह सब देख कर दंग रह गए। उन्हें निश्चय हो गया कि :– "हरि इच्छा बलवान"।
राम कीन्ह चाहैं सोई होई। करै अन्यथा आस नहिं कोई।
फिर तो शुभ मुहुर्त विचारकर स्वयं गरुड़ जी ने ही पुरोहिताई का कर्तव्य निभाया। वेद मंत्रों से विधि पूर्वक विवाह कार्य सम्पन्न कराकर वर-वधु को आशीर्वाद दिया और उन्हें पुनः उनके घर पहुँचाया।
तत्पश्चात प्रभु के पास आकर सारा वृत्तांत निवेदन किया और प्रभु पर अधिकार समझ झुंझलाकर बोले, "प्रभो! आपने अच्छी लीला की, सारे विवाह के कार्य हमसे करवा दिये"। श्री भगवान् गरुड़ जी की बातों को सुनकर मन्द-मन्द मुस्कुरा रहे थे।
भाग्य के भरोसे, हाथ पर हाथ धर कर कभी मत बैठो। खाना खाने के लिये भी हाथ हिलाने पड़ते हैं।
प्रारब्ध-भाग्य :: परीक्षित ने गर्भ में अश्वत्थामा का ब्रह्मास्त्र झेला पैदा होने से पहले और महात्मा तक्षक का दंश मरने के बाद, यह प्रारब्ध था।

OORDHV REKHA ऊर्ध्व रेखा ::
ऊर्ध्वरेखा SSत्मरेखाया एवचोर्ध्वम् विनिस्मृता।
आमध्यमांगुलं गच्छेत् तद्वान् वर्षशतं सुखी॥
जीवेन्दते च परमं पदं प्राप्नोति शाश्वतम्।
एका वाSनेकरूपावा शाखावापि च यद्भवा:॥
ऊर्ध्वंतु बन्धरेखान्तं विपरीतफलप्रदा। ऊर्ध्वरेखेति नामोर्ध्वंपदप्राप्तिप्रसूचनात॥
यद्वा सैषोर्ध्वंगमनात् ऊर्ध्वरेखेति विश्रुता।
OORDHV or Urdh means upwards. It grants upward movement i.e., Salvation, Liberation, assimilation in the Almighty; to sages, relinquished, saints, detached, Yogis or the ones who have fulfilled their duties in accordance with the Shastr-scriptures.
This line which is considered to be a modification of the Life Line may go to the second phalange of the Saturn-middle finger, in the absence of the Life Line. It grants an age of 100 years to the possessor. In fact considering the path of the line it is Luck Line which bestows eternity. It begins at the rascette. On the contrary if begins from the 1st rascette band it may give opposite result. This line is indicative of the highest attainment.
KESAR REKHA केसर रेखा :- इस रेखा की उपस्थिति जातक के जीवन में यश, धन और भाग्य का उदय काल बताती है। इस रेखा की अनुपस्थिति अर्थाभाव और श्रमपूर्ण जीवन दिखाती है। यदि यह रेखा मोटी हो तो जातक अपने परिश्रम से बहुत अधिक धन कमाता है। यदि यह रेखा टूटी हुई हो तो जातक को किसी धंधे में स्थाई लाभ नहीं मिलता। उसको जीवन यापन के लिये बहुत कठिनाइयों और दिक्क्तों का सामना करना पड़ता है। जब रेखा बाल के समान पतली और सूक्ष्म अवस्था में हो तो वह खूब धन कमाता है; परन्तु उसे अपने गुप्त शत्रु और गुप्त रोगों का भय सदैव बना रहता है। यदि यह रेखा यवरेखा से प्रारम्भ होकर मलिका रेखा तक एकदम स्पष्ट और गहरी दिखाई दे तो जातक का जन्म निश्चित रूप से उत्तम कुल और धनवान परिवार में होता है। ऐसा व्यक्ति कला प्रेमी व कला का कदरदान होता है।
इस रेखा का सर्पाकृति में, टेढ़ा-मेढ़ा होना, मानसिक कमजोरी को प्रकट करता है। यदि इस प्रकार की छोटी-मोटी 16 रेखाएं दोनों हाथों में हों तो जातक शाही घराने का मुखिया होता हुआ जीवन के सभी ऐश्वर्य, सुख, भोग-विलास प्राप्त करता है। ऐसे जातक की कुण्डली में शुक्र या शनि उच्च के होकर योगकारक होते हैं।
जब यह रेखा अँगुष्ठ के प्रथम खण्ड में अस्पष्ट हो तथा द्वितीय खण्ड में दृष्टिगोचर हो तो ऐसे जातक का जन्म गरीब और निम्न परिवार में होता है, मगर जीवन के द्वितीय चरण में उसका कारोबार अच्छा चल पड़ता है तथा वह प्रचुर यश और द्रव्य कमाता है।
यदि यह रेखा धागे की तरह हो तथा काली या पीली हो तो भी जातक के जीवन में धन और वैभव होगा। यदि यह रेखा लाल, गुलाबी, चमकीली और स्निग्ध हो तो इसका महत्व कई गुमा बढ़ जाता है।
Presence of this line describes fame, wealth and rise of luck in one's life. Its absence tells that one will face lack of money and a life of hard labour. A thick line shows that one will earn a lot through his labour. Broken line shows lack of stability or gain in any profession-trade. He will have to do a lot of hard work and face difficulties to survive. If this line is thin like a hair and is small, one will earn a lot but may be troubled by the hidden enemies and venereal diseases. If this line starts from the line formed by islands and goes to Malika Rekha, crystal clear and deep, one might have taken birth in a reputed and rich family. He will be a love of arts and value it.
If this line has a Serpentine formation and is curved one will have mental weakness. If 16 such lines are there in both the hands, then he will head a royal family and have all sorts of luxuries, comforts. This is there when Venus or Saturn becomes Yog Karak.
When this line is unclear in the first segment of the thumb and appears in the second segment, then one will be born in a poor-low level family, but his business will flourish in the second stage of life. He will earn name, fame and wealth.
If this line is like a thread with black or yellow colour, one will have a lot of money and possessions. If this line is red or pink and is bright and lovely, its significance will increase many fold.
DHENUKA धेनुका ::
धेनुका मणिबंधात्स्यात् इंदिरावामपार्श्वगा।
ऊर्ध्वोन्मुखी सूक्ष्मरूपा मध्यमा मूलगामिनी॥
स्वपौषकल्यानुरूपेण सर्वसिद्धिप्रदा नृणाम्।
धेनुकेद्युदिता सद्भि: गोसमृद्धिप्रसूचनात्॥
यह रेखा मणिबन्ध चलकर शनि की ऊँगली की जड़ तक पहुँचती है। इंदिरा से प्रभाव और आकृति में मिलती जुलती यह रेखा इंदिरा से इस लिहाज से अलग है कि इन्दिरा हृदय रेखा, शनि मुद्रिका या फिर शनि मुद्रिका को मुश्किल से पार कर पाती है। यह पतली रेखा है जबकि इंदिरा मोटी और गहरी होती है। इसके प्रभाव से जातक की इच्छाएँ पूर्ण हो जाती हैं। इसके प्रभाव से जातक समुचित गौधन का मालिक होता है। यह भी भाग्य रेखा ही है।
It resemble Indira in formation reaching the foot of Saturn-middle finger. It too starts from rascette. The difference lies in its nearly touching the foot of the finger, while Indira stops at the Heart Line or Saturn Ring or just crosses Saturn Ring. This line is very slender in appearance, while Indira is thick & deep. Its capable of fulfilment of the desires of the bearer. The owner may be blessed with plenty of cows-as per the meaning of its name. This is also Luck-Fate Line.

आयुःश्रिय बुद्धिमत्वं आरोग्यं च प्रयच्छति।
इन्दिरेत्युदिता सद्भिः श्रीपदत्वप्रसूचनात्॥
इन्दिरा भाग्य रेखा ही है। यह जातक को सुख, धन-सम्पत्ति, लम्बी उम्र प्रदान करती है। मणिबन्ध या फिर जीवन रेखा से शुरू होकर यह शनि पर्वत तक पहुँचती है।
This line corresponds to the Line of Fate-Luck Line. It may begin from the rascette, by the side of the Life line reaching the Mount of Saturn. It ensure smooth life, longevity and pleasure in life.
DHAN PRADA धनप्रदा ::
धनप्रदाख्या सा रेखा मणिबन्धाद्विनिस्सृता।
इंदिरा वामपार्श्वेन मध्यमामूलगामिनी॥
अभिष्ठार्थप्रदा नाम्ना फ्लोक्त्याSर्थोपि सूचित:।
मणिबन्ध शुरु होने वाली यह रेखा भी इंदिरा और धेनुका के समान ही भाग्य रेखा का एक रुप ही है। यह जातक को उसकी इच्छा के अनुरूप धन कमाने में मदद करती है। इसका झुकाव वृहस्पति की ऊँगली की ओर होता है।
This line is moderation-modification of Luck Line like Indira and Denuka. The difference lies in its termination since it is close to the end of the Saturn finger towards the Jupiter finger. It bestows the bearer with the power to earn as much money as he desires. This too starts from the rascette.
उद्योगिनं पुरुषसिहंमुतैपि लक्ष्मी दैवं हि दैवमिति कापुरुषा वदन्ति। दैवं निहत्य कुरु पौरुषमात्मशक्त्या यत्ने कृते यदि न सिद्धयति कोऽत्र दोषः॥
उद्योगी पुरुष सिंह को ही लक्ष्मी प्राप्त होती है। देव की रट तो कायर व्यक्ति लगाते हैं। आत्मशक्ति से, भाग्य से प्राप्त दोष को नष्ट करने के लिए, पुरुषार्थ करना चाहिए। पुरुषार्थ करने पर भी यदि सिद्धि प्राप्त नहीं होती, तब भी हतोत्साहित नहीं होना चाहिए। वहाँ विचार करना चाहिए कि हमारे पुरुषार्थ में कहाँ क्या दोष रहा, जिस से इष्ट लाभ नहीं मिला। उस दोष को जानकार पुन: सिद्धि के लिए प्रयत्न करना चाहिए। इस प्रकार नित्य पुरुषार्थी स्वदोष दर्शन में समर्थ व्यक्ति कभी न कभी अपने इष्ट को प्राप्त करने में समर्थ हो जाता है।[विदुर नीति 120]
One who make efforts earns money gets success. Only the cowered depend upon the destiny-luck. One must be determined to crush the evils-short comings, coming in his way with the help of hard work-labour. In spite of hard work if one fails to gain wealth, he should not be disappointed. He should resort to self introspection-analysis to find short his comings-causes of failure. Having identified his weaknesses, he should make efforts again. One who make efforts in this manner is capable to meeting his Ist (ईष्ट, deity) Goal.
भाग्य :: मनुष्य को कभी भी भाग्य सहारे नहीं रहना चाहिये। सृष्टि में केवल और केवल मनुष्य के पास ही वह शक्ति है जिससे वह अपने प्रारब्ध तक को बदल सकता है।
श्री राम का विवाह और राज्याभिषेक :- दोनों शुभ मुहूर्त देख कर किए गए थे; फिर भी न वैवाहिक जीवन सफल हुआ, न ही राज्याभिषेक। यह दैविक घटनाक्रम था और देवताओं की इच्छानुरूप ही यह सब हुआ।
मुनि वशिष्ठ ने कहा :-
"सुनहु भरत भावी प्रबल, बिलखि कहे हूं मुनिनाथ।
लाभ हानि, जीवन मरण, यश अपयश विधि हाथ"॥
जो विधि ने निर्धारित किया है, वही होकर रहेगा।
महादेव शिव जी सती की मृत्यु को टाल सके, जबकि महामृत्युंजय मंत्र उन्हीं का आवाहन करता है।
भगवान् शिव के गले में 108 नरमुण्डों की माला होती है जो कि माता भगवती के पूर्व पार्थिव शरीरों की खोपड़ियाँ हैं।
रामकृष्ण परमहंस भी अपने कैंसर को न टाल सके।बीमारी पूवजन्मों के संचित कर्मों पापों से होती है। इसे वर्तमान को सुधार कर रोका जा सकता है। रावण और कंस का जन्म और मरण पूर्वनिश्चित था और देवताओं की योजना का कार्यरूप था।
मानव अपने जन्म के साथ ही जीवन, मरण, यश, अपयश, लाभ, हानि, स्वास्थ्य, बीमारी, देह, रंग, परिवार, समाज, देश-स्थान सब पहले से ही निर्धारित करके आता है। कुछ भी क्यों न हो सभी को श्रीमद्भगवद गीता को केवल पढ़ना ही नहीं अपितु उसे समझना और उसके अनुरूप आचरण भी करना चाहिए।
भगवान् ने मनुष्य को 5 कर्मेन्द्री, 5 ज्ञाननेद्री और 11 वाँ मन देकर भेजा है, सात्विक कर्म करने के लिये।तामसिक कर्म, प्राणियों को सताना, परेशान करना, बेकसूर को प्रताड़ित करना अगला जन्म और प्रारब्ध को निर्धारित करेंगे।
