ॐ गं गणपतये नम:।

अक्षरं परमं ब्रह्म ज्योतीरूपं सनातनम्।

गुणातीतं नीराकारं स्वेच्छामयमनन्तजम्॥

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।

मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भुर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥

[श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता 2.47]

Though these lines are too small and generally avoided by almost everyone, yet they are significant-meaningful and describe the future events perfectly. One can easily avoid the ill effects of these lines through firm determination and prayer-worship of the Almighty.

DEVIKA 
देविका 

(1). DEVIKA देविका :: 

देविकाSनामिकामूले सन्धिरेखोपरि स्थिता। 

निम्नरूपा मुक्तिदा च नाम्नाष्टैश्वर्यसूचकम्॥ 

उलटे हाथ में अनामिका-सूर्य की ऊँगली की संधि रेखा पर उपस्थित यह गहरी रेखा मनुष्य को मोक्ष दायक है। यह जातक को दिव्य शक्तियाँ भी प्रदान करती है।

Its found at the base of Sandhi Rekha-juncture line. Its deep cut and grants emancipation from life-rebirth. It gives divine powers like omnipotence. It grants cessation of further births to the bearer.

PARISTIRNA
परिस्तीर्णा 

(2). PARISTIRNA परिस्तीर्णा :: 

परिस्तीर्णा तदूर्ध्वस्था सदा संसारबंधदा। 
परिस्तीर्णेति शाल्याद्यै: पूर्णगेहत्वसूचनात्॥    

यह  देविका के ऊपर पाई जाती है और जातक को भरपूर अन्न-धान्य प्रदान करती है। 

Its found above Devika and indicate perpetual involvement in family life. Its name points towards a house full of cereals like rice.

PARIDHI
परिधि

(3). PARIDHI परिधि ::

परिधिस्तु तदूर्ध्वस्था नित्यनैमित्तिकादिषु। कर्मस्वभिरुचिं कुर्यात मुक्तिं वा सम्प्रयच्छति॥ परिधिः सततं वहौ होम कर्म प्रसूचनात्। 

यह परिस्तीर्णा के ऊपर पाई जाती है। यह मनुष्य के मन मस्तिष्क में मुक्ति-मोक्ष की इच्छा पैदा करती है और मोक्ष प्रदान भी करती है। इसको परिधि नाम इसलिए मिला है क्योंकि इसके लिए अग्निहोत्र की आवश्यकता भी पड़ती है। 

Its found over Paristrina. It generate desire in the routine and optional performances of the bearer. It also gives final beatitude. Its called so because of sacrificial fire required for these performances.

BEATITUDE :: परम सुख, परमगति, मोक्ष, परमानंद, निर्वाण; emancipation, beatification, blissfulness, Nirvan-Moksh, blessedness, benediction, grace, the blessings.

VARTULA 
वर्तुला 

(4). VARTULA वर्तुला ::

वर्तुलाSनामिकामूले वर्तुलाकृतिः स्फुटा। 
सचिवायत्तसिद्धितवं तत्फलं नाम च स्फुटम्॥

उलटे हाथ की अनामिका के निम्न पर्व में पाई जाने वाली यह गोलाकार रेखा मनुष्य को राजदरबार में मंत्री पद प्रदान करती है।

Its present at the base of the ring finger of the left hand and is called Vartula due to its round shape. Its clear in formation and one may become a minister bearing this line.

SINHIKA 
सिंहिका 

(5). SINHIKA सिंहिका :: 

सिंहिकाSनामिकामूलपर्ववस्था विजयप्रदा। 

नृपाणां तत्व निर्णीतः ब्राह्मणानां तु तत्फलम्॥

सिंहिकेति च नामापि सदा शूरत्वसूचनात्। 

उलटे हाथ की अनामिका के निम्न पर्व में पाई जाने वाली यह सीधी खड़ी यह रेखा राजा को दुश्मनों पर विजय प्रदान करती है। ब्राह्मणों को यह रेखा शास्त्र का महान  ज्ञान और विवेचना शक्ति प्रदान करती है। 
Its present at the lower phalange of the Left hand Sun-ring finger. It gives victory against the foes for the kings and great authority in expounding truths for the Brahmans. Its name indicates valour. Great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle.

MANU
मनु

(6). MANU मनु :: 

मनुः तदूर्ध्वभागस्थो निम्नाकारोSतिदुर्लभः। 
मन्त्राभ्यासरतत्वं तु फलं स्पष्टं च नाम हि॥

मनु एक साफ और गहरी रेखा है जो कि जातक को शुद्ध मंत्रोच्चारण की शक्ति-विद्वता प्रदान करती है। 

Its deep and clear in appearance & is present above Sinhika. It provides proficiency to the bearer in the pronouncing of Mantr-chanting spells. 

YAVISHTHA
यविष्ठा 

(7). YAVISHTHA यविष्ठा ::

यविष्ठाSतिसमीपस्था  तदूर्ध्व मन्त्रसिद्धिदा।

यविष्ठेति च नामापि प्रावीण्यातिशयत्वतः॥

यविष्ठा के प्रभाव से जातक अद्वितीय विद्वान पुरुष होगा और उसे वेदों के मंत्र और श्लोकों के मंत्रोपचारण का उचित फल भी प्राप्त होगा। यह मनु के ऊपर स्थित होगी।

Its placed above Manu and is very clear in appearance. It bestows the reward of the enchantment of Mantr-Vedic Shloks to the bearer. It grants extraordinary learning to the bearer.

BHUTI
भूति

(8). BHUTI भूति ::

भूतिः यविष्ठोर्ध्वदेशे किञ्चिच्छिष्टा समृध्दिदा। सौशील्यं सुभगत्वं च फलं नाम परिस्फुटम्॥

भूति यविष्ठा के ऊपर कुछ उभरी हुई पाई जायेगी। यह जातक हर वस्तु को प्रचुर मात्रा में प्रदान करेगी। उसे अत्युत्तम चरित्र और मधुर व्यवहार की क्षमता प्राप्त होगी। यह उसके महान सौभाग्य को प्रकट करती है। 

Bhuti would be found above Yavishtha. It will grant every thing in plenty to bearer. He would bear excellent character and sweet disposition. This line shows his good luck as well.

ADHIKA
अधिका 

(9). ADHIKA अधिका :: 

अधिकाSनामिकान्तस्था पर्वण्यंशगता कृशा।

तत्फलं तर्कशूरत्वं युक्तिज्ञत्वमथापि वा॥

उभयं वाSत्र नामार्थः स्पष्टो वृत्ताकृतित्वतः।

यह गोलाकार पतली रेखा,  उलटे हाथ की अनामिका-सूर्य की ऊँगली के ऊपरी पर्व पर दिखाई देती है। यह जातक को महान तर्क शक्ति या फिर साधन-सृजन करने की शक्ति अथवा दोनों ही प्रदान करती है  

It would be found above the top phalange of the ring finger of the left hand of the bearer having a circular shape. It will bestow either great prowess in arguments or resourcefulness of mind or both. This line generally thin.
