ॐ गं गणपतये नम:।अक्षरं परमं ब्रह्म ज्योतीरूपं सनातनम्।
गुणातीतं नीराकारं स्वेच्छामयमनन्तजम्॥
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भुर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥

Little finger has Mercury just below it, which grants intellect, cleverness and helps in innovations, research. It helps the bearer if its either normal or elevated-developed.
When exaggerated or depressed it cause negative tendencies in the possessor, who may turn into a cheat, cunning, fraudster.
Recitation of :- "ऊँ बुं बुधाय नम:" and "ॐ गं गणपत्ये नमः" will help the bearer a lot bringing him out of trouble-distress.
Both Ganpati and Mercury grants intellect, wisdom, success in business, trade etc.

| DANDI दण्डी |
नयज्ञता फलंचास्य नामार्थो बहुसैन्यता॥
रेखा यह छोटी ऊँगली के मूल में उपस्थित होती है और दूसरे और तीसरे पर्व की सन्धि की तरफ़ बढ़ती है। इसके होने से जातक को नायक-नेतृत्व का गुण प्राप्त होता है। इसके नाम के अनुरूप जातक को बड़ी सेना के सेनापति का पद प्राप्त हो सकता है।
It is found at the foot of the Mercury finger reaching the top of that region. It grants leadership qualities to the possessor. Its name interprets large army.

रुता कनिष्ठिकामूलात् वामपाश्र्वेन् चोर्ध्वगा।
जयप्रदा परस्त्रीणां नाम्ना रोदननामतः॥
जयप्रदा परस्त्रीणां नाम्ना रोदननामतः॥
रुता कनिष्ठिका ऊँगली के मूल से प्रारम्भ होकर बायें हाथ की ओर रहते हुए दूसरे पर्व पर चढ़ती है। यह जातक को नेतृत्व क्षमता प्रदान करती है। जातक के नेतृत्व में सेना को शत्रु पर विजय प्राप्त होती है और शत्रु सेनाओं की स्त्रियाँ रुदन करती हैं।
It starts from the foot of the little finger and moves upwards towards the left side. It grants victory over the enemy and consequently causes grief to the enemy women. It means weeping.

(3). VASTOSHPATI वास्तोष्पति ::
वास्तोष्पतिनार्म रेखा कनिष्ठामूलदेशतः।
उर्ध्वोन्मुखी दक्षपार्श्वे विचित्राSपूर्वगेहदा॥
नामार्थोSत्र फलोक्त्यैव कथितः पूर्वसूरिभिः।
यह रेखा कनिष्ठिका ऊँगली के मूल से शुरू होकर दायें हाथ की ओर प्रथम पर्व पर जाती है। इसके प्रभाव स्वरूप जातक को सुन्दर सज्जित मकान की प्राप्ति होती है। वास्तु शास्त्र मकान, भवन, मन्दिर निर्माण की प्राचीन भारतीय कला है।
Its present at the foot of the little finger moving upwards on the right side of the finger. The possessor is blessed with a decorated house as a result of it. Vastu stands for the ancient art & science of architecture & engineering connected with building of houses, temples etc.
(4). KESH GAND STHAL केशगण्डस्थला ::
यह रेखा कनिष्ठ ऊँगली के बीचों-बीच उपस्थित होती है। ऊँगली के मूल से प्रारम्भ होकर यह पहले पर्व तक जाती है। इसके प्रभाव स्वरूप जातक के सर में एक उठी हुई गाँठ उत्पन्न हो जाती है। इसके प्रभाव स्वरूप पुत्र और पिता के बीच मतभेद और दूरियाँ पैदा हो जाती हैं, जिससे पिता को तकलीफ़ होती है।

केशगण्डस्थला रेखा कनिष्ठामूलमध्यगा।
ऊर्ध्वोन्मुखी स्वाश्रयस्य क्रमोक्त्र्षयुतं गडुम्॥ कुर्वन्शिरसिन्मार्थः फलोक्त्या समुदीरित:।
This line is placed in the center, starting from the base of little finger, moving to the first phalange. A hump grows over the head of the bearer. This line creates gulf-gap-rift between the bearer and his father, creating difficulties for the father.

| PATI पति |
पतिः कनिष्ठिकामूलपर्वोर्ध्वोंशगता शिवा।
तत्फलं सद्गतिः नाम्ना बहुभर्तृत्वमीरितम्॥
रेखा छोटी ऊँगली के निम्न पर्व पर होती है। इसके परिणाम स्वरूप पुरुष जातक की सदगति हो जाती है। स्त्री जातक को यह रेखा एक उत्तम पत्नी का पद और कई बच्चों का मातृत्व प्रदान करती है।
This is found over the third phalange of the little finger leading man to Kaevaly (कैवल्य) and grants excellent wife hood to the woman with many children.

| PANGU पंगुः |
पंगुः कनिष्ठिकाममध्यसन्धिरेखासमन्वितः।
तत्फलं पंगुता नाम्ना फलोक्त्याSर्थसस्मीरितः॥
तत्फलं पंगुता नाम्ना फलोक्त्याSर्थसस्मीरितः॥
पंगु छोटी ऊँगली के मध्य पर्व पर मध्य सन्धि को घेरे रहती है। इसकी उपस्थिति मनुष्य को लंगड़ा-लूला बन देती है। इसका एक अन्य नाम क्लेशा भी है जो कि मनुष्य को कष्ट देती है।
Pangu surrounds the middle juncture of the little finger. It turns the bearer into a lame person. Its known as Kalesh-trouble as well. However, the impact is almost same in both the cases.

| ANANTAK अनन्तक: |
अनन्तको मध्यपर्वमध्यस्थः निम्नसंस्थितिः।
तत्फलं परिदाह: स्यात् क्वचित् तैलादियोगतः॥
क्लेशमात्रं न तु मृति: इति नाम्ना समीरितम्।
तत्फलं परिदाह: स्यात् क्वचित् तैलादियोगतः॥
क्लेशमात्रं न तु मृति: इति नाम्ना समीरितम्।
यह गहरी रेखा मध्य पर्व पर स्थित होती है। इसकी वज़ह से जातक तेल से लगी आग से झुलस सकता है परन्तु मृत्यु नहीं होगी।
This deep cut line is present over the middle phalange of the little finger, indicating danger from fire, caused by inflammable oils etc. It indicates suffering only and not death.

श्रीवल्ली तु कनिष्ठाग्रपर्वसंस्था कृशाकृंतिः।
पार्श्वोन्मुखी समृद्धिं च वैरूप्यं च पृयच्छति॥
चरणे व्रणसम्भूतकृमिपीडासमुद्भवः।
किञ्च सप्ततिवर्षान्ते मृतिं सा संप्रयच्छति॥
यथा वल्ली न त्यजति स्वयं शुष्कमपि द्रुमम्।
दद्वत् श्रीरप्यमुं नित्यमिति नामार्थसङ्गति:॥
This is present over the top phalange of the little finger. It is thin and tends towards the left. It makes a man rich and give ugly look as well. It causes ulcer in the legs where germs are formed. It may kill the bearer between the age of 70-73.

| ROHITAM रोहितं |
रोहितं नखपर्यन्ते रक्तवर्णे तु तद्वतः।
असृग्वमनं अंगारसंबन्धं चापि तत्फलम्॥
लाल लिये हुए यह रेखा ऊँगली के ऊपरी पर्व में पाई जायेगी तथा नाख़ून की ओर झुकी हुई होगी। इसकी उपस्थिति दुर्घटना की सूचक है। जातक को खून की उल्टियाँ भी संभव हैं। ये दोनों ही स्थतियाँ 14-28 वर्ष की आयु में होंगी।
It red in colour and is present over the top phalange of the little finger and moves till the nail. It leads to accidents as well vomiting of blood possibly between the age of 14-28.

| KAMBU कम्बु |
कम्बु: नखबहि:स्था स्यात् रेखा श्वासनिरोधिका।
कं वायुः बुस्तु बन्धार्थ: तद्वन्धात्कम्बुरुच्यते॥
यह रेखा नाख़ून के नीचे या आसपास मौजूद होती है तथा जातक के मन में घुटन पैदा करती है।
It is present over the lower flanks of the nails and causes suffocation to the bearer.

सिरारोग: तत्फलं स्यात् नामार्थ: स्पष्ट एव हि॥
कम्बु के नीचे पाई जाने वाली यह गोलकार रेखा जातक के तंत्रिका तंत्र को प्रभावित कर उसमें नाड़ी सम्बन्धी बीमारियाँ पैदा करती है।
It is found below Kambu in a circular form and causes diseases pertaining to nervous system.

तत्फलं चिरजीवित्वं नामार्थो निर्गतोSर्थतः॥
पहले पर्व के बाहरी किनारे पर पाई जाने वाली यह रेखा जातक को लम्बी आयु प्रदान करती है।
This is found on the outermost region of the top phalange of the little finger. It may have two branches. It grants long life to the owner.

| SWAVRATTA श्र्ववृत्ता |
श्र्ववृत्ताख्या कनिष्ठाया: मध्यपर्वणि संस्थिता। वर्तुलोभयपार्श्वस्था रेखाद्वयसमन्वयात्॥
प्रकृष्टार्थप्रदा सैषा बन्धरेखायुता यदि। फलस्यापि न पौष्कल्यं नाम्ना च प्रभुसेवया॥
वृत्या च जन्मनयति स्वामीभक्तिं च यच्छति।
यह रेखा मध्य पर्व की सन्धि के ऊपर दोनों सिरों पर गोलाकर रूप में होती है। यह जातक को वांछित मात्रा में धन-सम्पत्ति प्रदान करती है। यदि इस रेखा के साथ अन्य दो रेखाएँ हों और उनमें से एक पर्व सन्धि हो तो इसकी ताकत काफ़ी कम हो जाती है। जातक अपने स्वामी का कुत्ते के समान वफादार होता है।
This line is found at the middle phalange of the little finger. Its rounded at the two ends. Two other lines may be found in conjunction with it. It grants the wealth desired by the bearer. If one of the conjunction lines is a line at the juncture of the two phalanges, its power will be diminished considerably. It shows that the bearer will serve his master faithfully like a dog.
(14). LAMA लामा ::
लामेति द्विशिखा रेखा कनिष्ठामूलपर्वगा। |

वाचालत्वं फलं तद्वत क्वचित् अत्यन्तमूकता॥
लातिमामिति नामार्थः तस्मात् श्रीहीनतोदिता।
यह शाखान्वित रेखा कनिष्ठा अँगुली के मूल पर्व पर स्थित होती है। जातक के मन में धनवान होने की प्रबल इच्छा होती है। वह या तो एक अच्छा वक्ता अथवा मूक व्यक्ति होता है।
This is a forked line found at the base phalange of the little finger. One has the desire for the grace of Maa Lakshmi. He may either be a great orator or dumb.
लातिमामिति नामार्थः तस्मात् श्रीहीनतोदिता।
यह शाखान्वित रेखा कनिष्ठा अँगुली के मूल पर्व पर स्थित होती है। जातक के मन में धनवान होने की प्रबल इच्छा होती है। वह या तो एक अच्छा वक्ता अथवा मूक व्यक्ति होता है।
This is a forked line found at the base phalange of the little finger. One has the desire for the grace of Maa Lakshmi. He may either be a great orator or dumb.

| MATULANI मातुलानी |
(15). MATULANI मातुलानी ::
मातुलानी तु लामायाः अधःस्यात् न्यूनताप्रदा।
नाम्नापि मातुलस्त्रीणां सदा प्रेष्यत्वसूचनात्॥
लामा के कुछ नीचे मौजूद यह रेखा जातक को बुद्धि-विवेकहीन बनाती है। उसे चाचा के परिवार की स्त्रियाँ नौकर की तरह समझतीं हैं। वह हींन भावना से ग्रस्त रहता है और अपनी इस स्थिति से कभी उबर नहीं पाता।
This line is located slightly below Lama. It makes the bearer deficient in intelligence-prudence. He will be treated like servants by the women of his uncle's family. He will never rise above his status & suffer from inferiority complex.

| MADHVI माधवी |
(16). MADHVI माधवी ::
माधवीस्यात् कनिष्ठायाः पार्श्वाधस्तात् समीपतः।रेखा दक्षिणहस्तस्थमहीस्थानगता कृशा॥
सत्कर्माणामनुष्ठानं समृद्धिश्चापि तत्फलं।
माधवीति च नामस्स्यात् वसन्ते मृतिसूचनात्॥
जातक के उलटे हाथ में उपस्थित यह रेखा कनिष्ठा के मूल में पाई जाती है। यह सीधे हाथ में पाई जाने वाली रेखा माही, जो कि इसी स्थान पर पाई जाती है, के समान पतली होती है और उसी के समान फल भी देती है। जातक वैदिक मन्त्र वेत्ता और विधि-विधान का ज्ञाता होता है। उसे सभी प्रकार के सुख उपलब्ध होते हैं। उसकी मृत्यु, रेखा के नाम के अनुकूल वसन्त ऋतु में होती है।
This thin line is found just below the base phalange of the Mercury finger. It corresponds to Mahi, which is present over the right hand over the same location. One with this line will perform Vedic functions-procedures and will be blessed with all fortunes. He will die during spring season.
(17). MAHISHTHA महिष्ठा ::
Its present at the lower phalange of the little finger, moving in an upward direction. It bestows the affection of the king and excellent disposition to the owner. The name suggest elevation-greatness. One may survive till 50 years only, if other indications in both the hands are adverse.

महिष्ठोर्ध्वनमुखी रेखा कनिष्ठामूलपर्वणि। राजप्रियत्वं सौशील्यं फलं नाममहत्वतः॥
यह रेखा छोटी ऊँगली के निम्न पर्व ऊपर की ओर उठती हुई पाई जाती है। जातक राजा का प्रिय होता है। उसका आचार, व्यवहार, चरित्र उत्तम होता है। इसके नाम से स्पष्ट है, महानता का गुण। जातक के दोनों हाथों में यदि विपरीत लक्षण हों तो वह मात्र 50 वर्ष तक ही जीता है। Its present at the lower phalange of the little finger, moving in an upward direction. (18). RUKM KANTHIKA रुक्मकण्ठिका ::
सा रुक्मकण्ठिका रेखा माध्व्याः स्यादधः स्थिता। वांचितार्थप्रदा नाम्ना स्वर्णप्राप्तिप्रसूचनी॥
यह माधवी के नीचे पाई जाती है और व्यक्ति को वह सब कुछ प्रदान करती है, जो वो चाहता है। इसके नाम से यह स्पष्ट है कि जातक गले में स्वर्ण और आभूषण धारण करेगा।
Its present just a little below Madhvi. It bestows the bearer every thing he desires. Its name suggests that one wears gold or other ornaments in his neck.

| ROHISHTHA रोहिष्ठा |
रोहिष्ठा तदधःस्थास्यात् धनधान्यप्रदा सदा।
यह रेखा रुक्मकण्ठिका के नीचे पाई जाती है और जातक को प्रचुर धन-धान्य प्रदान करती है।
This line is found below Rukm Kanthika and grants sufficient wealth and cereals-eatables-food.
सर्वा सामपि संप्रोक्तलक्षणानां ततस्ततः।
अन्तरा यदि विच्छेदो रेखाणां नाश एव चा॥
उँगलियों सीधे और उलटे हाथ में पाये जाने निशानों का वर्णन करने वाली रेखाएँ, यदि कटी-फ़टी हों तो समुचित फल नहीं देतीन। ऐसी स्थिति में रेखा का रंग देख कर निर्णय लिया जाता है।
The chapters describing the lines present over the fingers of both left & the right hands, if there are gaps or breaks in the lines, they denote the destruction of the lines themselves and consequently the desired effects are not observed. In such cases the colour of the line is the deciding factor.

(1). दण्डी :: यह रेखा यह छोटी ऊँगली के मूल में उपस्थित होती है और दूसरे और तीसरे पर्व की सन्धि की तरफ़ बढ़ती है। इसके होने से जातक को नायक-नेतृत्व का गुण प्राप्त होता है। इसके नाम के अनुरूप जातक को बड़ी सेना के सेनापति का पद प्राप्त हो सकता है।
(2). रुता :: रुता कनिष्ठिका ऊँगली के मूल से प्रारम्भ होकर बायें हाथ की ओर रहते हुए दूसरे पर्व पर चढ़ती है। यह जातक को नेतृत्व क्षमता प्रदान करती है। जातक के नेतृत्व में सेना को शत्रु पर विजय प्राप्त होती है और शत्रु सेनाओं की स्त्रियाँ रुदन करती हैं।
(3). वास्तोष्पति :: यह रेखा कनिष्ठिका ऊँगली के मूल से शुरू होकर दायें हाथ की ओर प्रथम पर्व पर जाती है। इसके प्रभाव स्वरूप जातक को सुन्दर सज्जित मकान की प्राप्ति होती है। वास्तु शास्त्र मकान, भवन, मन्दिर निर्माण की प्राचीन भारतीय कला है।

(7). अनन्तक :: यह गहरी रेखा मध्य पर्व पर स्थित होती है। इसकी वज़ह से जातक तेल से लगी आग से झुलस सकता है, परन्तु मृत्यु नहीं होगी। (8). श्रीवल्ली :: यह पतली रेखा उलटे हाथ की ओर मुड़ी हुई, ऊँगली के ऊपरी पर्व पर स्थित होगी। इसका धारक व्यक्ति धनी मगर कुरूप होगा। उसके पैरों में अल्सर-घाव हो सकता है, जिसमें कीड़े पड़ने की सम्भावना भी होगी। जातक की मृत्यु 70-73 वर्ष की आयु में हो जायेगी।
(9). रोहितं :: लाल लिये हुए यह रेखा ऊँगली के ऊपरी पर्व में पाई जायेगी तथा नाख़ून की ओर झुकी हुई होगी। इसकी उपस्थिति दुर्घटना की सूचक है। जातक को खून की उल्टियाँ भी संभव हैं। ये दोनों ही स्थतियाँ 14-28 वर्ष की आयु में होंगी।

(19). रोहिष्ठा :: यह रेखा रुक्म कण्ठिका के नीचे पाई जाती है और जातक को प्रचुर धन-धान्य प्रदान करती है। उँगलियों सीधे और उलटे हाथ में पाये जाने निशानों का वर्णन करने वाली रेखाएँ, यदि कटी-फ़टी हों तो समुचित फल नहीं देतीं। ऐसी स्थिति में रेखा का रंग देख कर निर्णय लिया जाता है।

Both Ganpati and Mercury grants intellect, wisdom, success in business, trade etc.
(3). VASTOSHPATI :: Its present at the foot of the little finger moving upwards on the right side of the finger. The possessor is blessed with a decorated house as a result of it. Vastu stands for the ancient art & science of architecture & engineering connected with building of houses, temples etc.
(4). KESH GAND STHAL :: This line is placed in the center, starting from the base of little finger, moving to the first phalange. A hump grows over the head of the bearer. This line creates gulf-gap-rift between the bearer and his father, creating difficulties for the father.
(5). PATI :: This is found over the third phalange of the little finger leading man to Kaevaly (कैवल्य-मोक्ष) and grants excellent wife hood to the woman with many children.
(8). SHRIVALLI :: This is present over the top phalange of the little finger. It is thin and tends towards the left. It makes a man rich and give ugly look as well. It causes ulcer in the legs where germs are formed. It may kill the bearer between the age of 70-73.
(13). SWAVRATTA :: This line is found at the middle phalange of the little finger. Its rounded at the two ends. Two other lines may be found in conjunction with it. It grants the wealth desired by the bearer. If one of the conjunction lines is a line at the juncture of the two phalanges, its power will be diminished considerably. It shows that the bearer will serve his master faithfully like a dog. (14). LAMA :: This is a forked line found at the base phalange of the little finger. One has the desire for the grace of Maa Lakshmi. He may either be a great orator or dumb.
(15). MATULANI :: This line is located slightly below Lama. It makes the bearer deficient in intelligence-prudence. He will be treated like servants by the women of his uncle's family. He will never rise above his status & suffer from inferiority complex.
(16). MADHVI :: This thin line is found just below the base phalange of the Mercury finger. It corresponds to Mahi, which is present over the right hand over the same location. One with this line will perform Vedic functions-procedures and will be blessed with all fortunes. He will die during spring season.
(17). MAHISHTHA :: Its present at the lower phalange of the little finger, moving in an upward direction. It bestows the affection of the king and excellent disposition to the owner. The name suggest elevation-greatness. One may survive till 50 years only, if other indications in both the hands are adverse.
(18). RUKM KANTHIKA :: Its present just a little below Madhvi. It bestows the bearer every thing he desires. Its name suggests that one wears gold or other ornaments in his neck.
(19). ROHISHTHA :: The chapters describing the lines present over the fingers of both left & the right hands, if there are gaps or breaks in the lines, they denote the destruction of the lines themselves and consequently the desired effects are not observed. In such cases the colour of the line is the deciding factor. |
