This is the second principal line on the hand, which starts from the edge of the palm-percussion, close to the Life Line, under the index finger and moves across the palm towards opposite edge, resting under the Sun, over the Mental Mount of Mars. Its origin is almost similar to the Life Line with the exception that it may start from Jupiter. It may move further and cross the Prajapati Kshetr.

हाथ में पाई जाने वाली यह दूसरी प्रमुख रेखा है। यह हथेली के दूसरे छोर, अंगूठे और मंगल के ऊपर तथा बृहस्पति के नीचे से शुरू होती है। यह हथेली के पार प्रजापति क्षेत्र में भी जा सकती है। अधिकतर यह बुध और सूर्य के नीचे तक पहुँचती है। इसका सामान्य अवसान स्थान उच्च मंगल है। कभी-कभी यह यह चंद्र पर नीचे की ओर झुक जाती है। यह निम्न चंद्र और केतु तक जा सकती है। जिन पर्वतों के बीच से यह गुजरेगी उनका प्रभाव जातक पर स्पष्ट दिखाई देगा।

It represents the bearer's mind and the way he works, including learning style, communication style, intellectualism and thirst for knowledge. It is the index of mentality, prudence, intelligence, enlightenment, temperament, talent, knowledge, logic, judgement, prudence, discrimination, discernment, conscience.
It divides the hand into two components-the upper one mental and spiritual and the lower one material, practical, pragmatic which maintains the balance between the two worlds.

यह जातक के मस्तिष्क, सीखना, समझना, भावों की अभिव्यक्ति, ज्ञान, को प्रकट करती है। जातक का स्वभाव, मानसिकता, विद्वत्व, प्रतिभा, कौशल, निर्णय क्षमता, विवेक, अंतर-भेद, जागृति, प्रभेद, विचार, तर्क शक्ति आदि का निर्णय इसके अध्ययन से किया जा सकता है।
It may or may not be joined to Life Line. The line may go straight or may bend in upper or lower direction. Line of Head fused in the beginning with the Life Line makes one caution in nature. A narrow separation makes the individual strong, independent and progressive. Wide separation is good only when it starts close to the Jupiter finger, otherwise subject’s decisions may be incorrect and leading to trouble later. Women with this development becomes bold, foolhardy, carefree. The line may go straight or may bend in upper or lower direction. Some people are blessed with two Lines of Head as well, both running independently and joined-fused in the beginning. The Line of Heart may be confused for it.

यह जीवन रेखा से जुडी हुई अथवा स्वतंत्र भी हो सकती है। यह सीधी, वक्रीय, किसी पर्वत पर जा सकती है। जीवन रेखा से जुड़े होने पर यह जातक को सावधान बनाती है। अगर जीवन रेखा और मस्तिष्क रेखा में बहुत काम अंतर है तो जातक स्वतंत्र और तरक्की करने वाला होता है। बड़ा अन्तर जातक को असावधान और दुस्साहसी बनाती है। अगर मस्तिष रेखा का अन्तर बृहस्पति के नजदीक निकास से है तो वह सही निर्णय लेने वाला और तरक्की करने वाला होता है। स्त्रियों के बायें हाथ में यह लक्षण उनको मूर्खता, दुस्साहस, और लापरवाह बनाता है। कुछ लोगों के हाथों दोहरी मस्तिष्क रेखा भी होती जो कि उनके दोहरे चरित्र को प्रकट करती है। दोहरी मस्तिषक रेखा स्वतंत्र अथवा जुड़ी हुई भी हो सकती है। यह निम्न मङ्गल से भी निकल सकती है।

(3). Touching Life Line initially :- Bold, progressive, active.

(4). LIFE LINE :- Cautious and highly sensitive nature.
(5). MOUNT OF MARS (inside the Life Line) :- Frightful, worrying nature, conflicting and quarrelling temperament-attitude.

मस्तिष्क रेखा का उद्गम ::

(1).बृहस्पति के केंद्र से :- अत्यधिक विकसित मस्तिष्क, अच्छी याददाश्त, विवेक।

बृहस्पति और जीवन रेखा के बीच में कहीं भी :- जातक आत्मनिर्भर, साहसी, तररकी करने वाला होगा।

(2). जीवन रेखा से :- सावधान और अत्यधिक संवेदन शील प्रकृति।

(3). केवल शुरू में जुड़ी हुई :- जातक आत्मविश्वास से परिपूर्ण, जीवन में तरक्की करने वाला होगा।

(4). लगभग एक इंच तक जुडी हुई :- आत्मविश्वास में कमी, निर्णय लेने में देर।

(5). जीवन रेखा के नीचे की ओर बढ़ने के बाद लगभग एक सैंटीमीटर जुडी हुई :- जातक को दुनियादारी की समझ देर से आयेगी लगभग 32 साल की उम्र के बाद।

(3).Just touching Life Line :- Bold, quick, progress in life. In case of woman, she may be too bold and may take wrong decisions.

(4).LIFE LINE Joint is about one inch long :- Cautious and highly sensitive nature-may take long to arrive at decision.

(5). Separate from Life Line after moving down till the ate of 32 Years :- Bearer will under life-social relations quiet lite.
(6).MOUNT OF MARS (inside the Life Line) :- Frightful, worrying nature, conflicting and quarrelling temperament-attitude.

COURSE OF THE LINE OF HEAD :-

SAME IN BOTH HANDS :- Carrier-Profession adopted by the possessor will be the same as that of the father.

PRESENCE OF BRANCHES IN THE LINE OF HEAD :- It will indicate a profession, which had never been adopted by the family or the ancestors.

EXCELLENT LINE OF HEAD :- A straight Line of Head, with regular slope to Luna, rising from Jupiter, free from defects, terminating below the junction of Mercury and Sun finger, a small fork or trident at the termination of Line of Head, increases its strength multi fold. Small branches of the Line of Head in upward directed towards the Line of Heart or moving straight to the base of the fingers, through the mounts, increases its strength further, many fold. Such lines are found on the hands of Scientists, Inventors, Discoverers, Thinkers, Philosophers, Scholars or the people who can see future. They make progress for their family and the nation. The junction-joint of Life Line and the Line of Head should be small. It should not devote from its path suddenly.

GOOD LINE OF HEAD :- Long, even, slightly curved or straight, neither too broad nor too narrow, neither too deep nor too shallow, free from defects (breaks, islands, dots; starting below the Mount of Jupiter-slightly touching the life Line, upward branches moving towards the Line of Heart, terminating below the junction of Sun-Mercury finger, with developed Venus. Colour of the palm should be pink-neither red nor black.

मस्तिष्क रेखा शाखान्वित :- जातक वह व्यवसाय करेगा जो उसके परिवार अथवा पूर्वजों ने कभी नहीं किया।

उत्तम मस्तिष्क रेखा :- सीढ़ी-सपाट मस्तिष्क रेखा, चन्द्र पर्वत के ढ़लाव-गोलाई एक समान, बृहपति से निकास, किसी भी प्रकार का अवगुण न हो (द्वीप, कटी-फटी न हो, दाग़-धब्बों से मुक्त, टूटी हुई न हो, बीच में वक्राकार-मुड़ी हुई न हो), सूर्य और बुध के बीच अवसान, अन्त में द्विमुखी अथवा त्रिशूल लिए हुए। छोटी छोटी शाखायें हृदय रेखा की ओर निकलकर सीधे पर्वत पर होकर अँगुली और हथेली की सन्धि पर पहुँचें। मस्तिष्क रेखा और जीवन रेखा का जोड़ बेहद छोटा हो तो भी जातक को समुचित फल की प्राप्ति होगी। शुक्र उभरा हुआ हो, हथेली का रंग गुलाबी अथवा लाल हो।

अच्छी मस्तिष्क रेखा :- लम्बाई लिये हुए, हल्का का ढ़लाव, बहुत ज्यादा चौड़ी या संकरी न हों, सभी प्रकार के दुर्गुणों से मुक्त (द्वीप, कटी-फटी न हो, दाग़-धब्बों से मुक्त, टूटी हुई न हो), बृहपति और जीवन रेखा के बीच में शुरू हो, ऊपर जाने वाली शाखायें हृदय रेखा की तरफ बढ़ें, अवसान सूर्य और बुध की संधि के बीच हो, शुक्र उभरा हुआ हो, हथेली का रंग गुलाबी अथवा लाल हो, काला पन न हो।

(4).Good Line of Head with developed Venus :- Initially careless, later on becomes serious.

(5).Good Line of Head with defective Life Line :- Repeated change in profession or job.

(5).अच्छी मस्तिष्क रेखा मगर दोषपूर्ण भाग्य रेखा :- व्यवसाय-नौकरी को बार-बार बदलना।

(1).अच्छी मस्तिष्क रेखा मगर दोष पूर्ण जीवन रेखा :- बच्चे या तो बार-बार असफ़ल होंगे अथवा विषयों को बदलेंगे।

(2).अच्छी मस्तिष्क रेखा :- जातक का झुकाव प्रेम विवाह की ओर नहीं होगा।

(5).अच्छी मस्तिष्क रेखा दोष युक्त भाग्य रेखा :- व्यवसाय-नौकरी को बार-बार बदलना।

दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा :: बच्चे योग्य, होनहार और अध्ययन शील होंगे।

(1).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, मुलायम हथेली, भारी बढ़ा-उभरा हुआ शुक्र :- कार्य-मानसिक क्षमता बढाती है। कभी मुकदमा नहीं हारता, उधार दी हुई रकम बसूल कर लेता है। पढ़ाई-लिखाई में अच्छा होगा, समय व्यर्थ नहीं करेगा।

DEFECT FREE LINE OF HEAD :: It guarantees birth of able and studies progeny.

(1).Palm soft, broad and heavy with developed Venus :- Enhances working capacity and mental calibre. Never loose a court case or debited money. Good at studies-do not waste time.

(1).मुलायम हथेली, भारी बढ़ा-उभरा हुआ शुक्र :- कार्य-मानसिक क्षमता बढाती है। कभी मुकदमा नहीं हारता, उधार दी हुई रकम बसूल कर लेता है। पढ़ाई-लिखाई में अच्छा होगा, समय व्यर्थ नहीं करेगा।

(2).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, जीवन रेखा गोली लिये हुए :- प्रतिभा शाली, वजीफ़ा मिलने की सम्भावना।
(3).Defect free Line of Head accompanied by over developed-exaggerated Venus or broad Fate Line :- Carelessness, neglect of studies due to addiction, bad habits/vices.

(3).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, बहुत ज्यादा उभरा हुआ शुक्र, चौड़ी-फैली हुई भाग्य रेखा :- लापरवाह, पढ़ाई-लिखाई में ध्यान न देना, बुरी आदतें।
(4).Defect free Line of Head accompanied by Fate Line close to Life Line :-Hindrances in studies, due to bad financial conditions.

(4).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, भाग्य रेखा जीवन रेखा के निकट :- आर्थिक तंगी के कारण पढ़ाई में व्यवधान।
(5).Defect free Line of Head accompanied by raised-exaggerated Jupiter :- Over confident, ignore studies, tendency to show off as a leader (नेता गीरी का शौक), conflict with teachers, have faith in God-but avoids rituals-recitation, visits temples and holy places, believes in work, humanity and mental purity-piousness.

(5).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, अत्यधिक उठा हुआ बृहस्पति :- अति आत्मविश्वासी, पढ़ाई-लिखाई को अनदेखा करना, दिखावे-नेता गीरी का शौक, अध्यापकों से तकरार, ईश्वर में विश्वास मगर पूजा पाठ से परहेज़।
(6).Defects free Line of Head terminating over Mental Mount of Mars :- Studies Science-Law, confirmed by square nails.

(6).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, उच्च मङ्गल पर :- जातक विज्ञान, कानून-नीति शास्त्र का अध्ययन करेगा, अगर नाख़ून चौकोर हो तो यह निश्चित रूप से-सिद्ध होगा।
(7).Defects free Line of Head with three or more vertical lines on the Mount of Mercury :- Studies Science.

(7).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, बुध पर तीन या चार खड़ी रेखायें :- जातक विज्ञान की पढ़ाई करेगा।
(8).Defects free Line of Head with three or more vertical lines on the Mount of Mercury, accompanied by an initially broad and then a thin Line of Fate; with broad junction of Line of Head and Life Line :- Studies Medicine.

(8).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, बुध पर तीन या चार खड़ी रेखायें, शुरु में चौड़ी तथा बाद में पतली भाग्य रेखा मस्तिष्क रेखा, जीवन रेखा के बीच ज्यादा दूरी :- जातक चिकित्सा वैद्यक का अध्ययन करेगा।
(9).Defects free Line of Head with three or more vertical lines on the Mount of Mercury, accompanied by an even and straight Line of Fate :- Studies Engineering-Technology.

(9).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, बुध पर तीन या चार खड़ी रेखायें, सीधी समान आकार की भाग्य रेखा :- जातक प्राद्यौगिकी-इंजीनयरिंग का अध्ययन करेगा।
(10).Defect free Line of Head inclined or reaching Luna :- Studies Literature.

(10).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, चंद्र पर्वत पर पहुँचे :- जातक साहित्यकार, लेख़क बन सकता है।
(11).Defect free Line of Head inclined-reaching Luna with long pointed fingers :- High level-recognised artist, writer, composer, distinguished author.

(11).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, चंद्र पर्वत पर पहुँचे, लम्बी नुकीली अँगुलियाँ :- जातक जाना-माना कलाकार होगा, संगीतकार, प्रसिद्ध लेखक होगा।
(12).Defect free Line of Head with long Saturn finger :- Interest in Agriculture-Gardening-Animal Husbandry, children may be obstinate, stub-born, persistent, with the ability to qualify competitive examinations.

(12).दोष मुक्त मस्तिष्क रेखा, लम्बी शनि की अँगुली :- कृषि, पशु-पालन, जिद्दी बालक। जातक प्रतियोगी परीक्षा में सफ़लता प्राप्त करेगा।

विकार रहित मस्तिष्क रेखा जीवन रेखा अथवा बृहस्पति से प्रारम्भ होकर, हल्की सी झुककर, वक्रीय होकर उच्च मंगल अथवा उच्च चन्द्र पर पहुँचे :- साहित्य , कविता, संगीत में रूचि। अनेक भाषाओँ का ज्ञान, जातक के जीवन भर गरीब रहने की सम्भावना हो सकती है। उसके ज्ञान को मृत्यु उपरान्त ही मान्यता प्राप्त होगी, सराहा जायेगा।

मस्तिष्क रेखा का मार्ग ::

(19). 21 साल की आयु तक मस्तिष्क और जीवन रेखा जुड़ी हुईं, उसके बाद जीवन रेखा से एक शाखा मस्तिष्क रेखा के समानांतर उदित :- यद्यपि जातक पढ़ा-लिखा होगा, परन्तु उसमें समझ देर से जाग्रत होगी।

(20). लगभग एक तिहाई भाग तक मस्तिष्क रेखा और जीवन रेखा एक हो :- ईमानदार, मेहनती, सावधान, होशियार, अध्ययन शील, एकांत प्रिय, शर्मीला, आत्म विश्वास की कमी, संवेदन शील।

(21). मस्तिष्क और जीवन रेखा लगभग आधी लम्बाई तक एक हों :- अशुभ। आँख, नाक, कान, जीभ में विकार की सम्भावना। यदि जुड़े हुए हिस्से में द्वीप हो तो जातक गूँगा हो सकता है।

(19). Line of Head and Line of Life joined as one, move up to the age of 21 years, a small branch of Line of Head seen coming out of the Line Of Life :- Though educated, yet lack of understanding of society and the people around. Subject will awake-understand the society quite late.

द्विशाखित मस्तिष्क रेखा की एक शाखा उच्च चंद्र पर जाये :- जातक पढ़ा-लिखा कठोर परिश्रमी, विश्वास योग्य, शिष्ट, संस्कृत, नया खोजने-सीखने में लगा हुआ, अच्छा सलाहकार, मान-सम्मान का इच्छुक होगा और उसकी बातों को लोग मानेंगे-विश्वास करेंगे।

Line of Head forked near Rahu-middle of hand, don’t raise much, down ward prong reaches lower Luna :- Normally educated, don’t rise much in life, appreciates nature, paintings and beauty, may compose poems or interesting stories, financially tight, lunatic-insanity-crazy, suffers with the diseases related to head. Women with this indication are found to suffer from hysteria.

मस्तिष्क रेखा और हृदय रेखा का संयोग ::

(1). उठी हुई मस्तिष्क रेखा हृदय रेखा में मिले :- अशुभ। जातक प्रेम अथवा विवाह में अधीर होगा। परिणाम स्वरूप वह आत्म हत्या भी कर सकता है। अगर अन्य अशुभ चिन्ह भी हों तो प्रेमी की हत्या भी हो सकती है। दोनों प्रेमी एक साथ आत्म हत्या करके अगले जन्म में मिल सकते हैं।

(25.1). Line of Head sends a branch to Jupiter, forked in the beginning :: Well educated, religious, high thinking, helpful, high position in society, reputation, earning with the help of education-author-writer, capability to argument, logic, debate. Subject leads good, decent life.

प्रारम्भ में ही द्विजीवहित मस्तिष्क रेखा की शाखा बृहस्पति पर :-अच्छा पढ़ा-लिखा, धार्मिक, उच्च विचार, समाज में उच्च स्थान- इज्ज़त, विद्या से धन प्राप्ति (लेखन, तर्क-शक्ति), जातक अच्छा जीवन व्यतीत करता है।

मस्तिष्क रेखा की एक शाखा का विकास, भाग्य रेखा के समानान्तर :- जातक को धन-दौलत की प्राप्ति 35 की आयु में, वैभवशाली जीवन। जातक धन का उपयोग दान-पुण्य हेतु कर प्रतिष्ठित हो सकता है।

वह नवीन खोज कर सकता है और किसी भी बात की गहराई तक जाना चाहता है। वह लेखक, कवि, शिल्पी अथवा फोटोग्राफर बन सकता है।

Gandhi, Cheiro, Lala Hard Dayal & Viveka Nand possessed double Line of Head.

गाँधी, लाला हर दयाल, स्वामी विवेकानंद तथा कीरो के हाथ में यह रेखाएं दिखाई देती हैं।

Such people may possess dual personality or double role in life. They may have their own philosophy and ideals which may show contradictions.

ऐसे जातकों का अपने अलग आदर्श, दृष्टि कोण, सिद्धांत होते हैं।

Both of these joined-fused initially, run independently later. The Line of Heart may be confused for it. The bearer may show off duel characteristics-living two lives, simultaneously. Line of Head stops a deep line from Physical mount of Mars :: Shamelessness in sexual behaviour, quarrels-tensions, probability of lack of stability-police-court cases, till this age is attained.
A thin line running close-side by side to the Line of Head :: Bad omen.
