ग्रह और रत्न :: ग्रहों और रत्नों का घनिष्ठ सम्बन्ध है। ये रत्न अपने से सम्बन्धित ग्रह की प्रतिकूलता को समाप्त कर अनुकूल बनाने मे सहयोग देते हैं। 

सूर्य :: माणिक्य, मंगल :: मूँगा, चंद्र :: मोती,  बुध :: पन्ना, वृहस्पति :: पुखराज, शुक्र :: हीरा, शनि :: नीलम, राहु :: गोमेद, केतु :: लहसुनिया। 

ग्रह मैत्री के आधार पर ग्रहों के वर्ग दो वर्ग ::

प्रथम वर्ग :: सूर्य,  चन्द्र,  मंगल और वृहस्पति और 

द्वितीय वर्ग :: बुध,  शुक्र,  शनि,  राहु और केतु।

ग्रह मैत्री के आधार पर ही रत्नों के दो वर्ग :: 

प्रथम वर्ग :: माणिक्य, मोती, मूँगा और पुखराज और 

द्वितीय वर्ग :: पन्ना,  हीरा,  नीलम, गोमेद और लहसुनिया।

रत्न-धारण का नियम :: जब एक रत्न से अधिक रत्न धारण करें तो सभी एक ही वर्ग के होने चाहिए। एक वर्ग के रत्न के साथ दूसरे वर्ग के रत्न को नहीं धारण करना चाहिए,अन्यथा हानि हो सकती है।उदाहरण के लिये माणिक्य के साथ मोती, मूँगा और पुखराज तो धारण कर सकते हैं, किन्तु हीरा नीलम आदि नहीं धारण करना चाहिए, विशेषकर परस्पर शत्रु-ग्रहों के रत्न एक साथ कदापि नहीं धारण करना चाहिए।
LAPIS LAZULI :: It is a deep blue semi-precious stone prized since antiquity for its intense colour. It was being mined in the Sari Sang mines and in other mines in the Badakhshan province in northeast Afghanistan . It has derived its name out of the Latin term of Lauzulus-a blue stone. Usually found in blue and various shades of blue colour, this stone intrinsically carries golden spots over surface which are not considered as stains or elements of in auspiciousness to it. 

Its believed that this stone is an effective source of mental peace and serenity & ward off the impact of any poisonous substance or snakebite. It is a symbol of truth and a tool of protection from evil energies. Persians believe it to be the cause of blue-coloured sky. People believe that this stone is comprised of powerful mystical powers.
Astrology associates it  with Goddess Maa Bhagwati, who confers every true wearer of this stone with her blessings.It is quite prominent as a stone symbolising for the attributes of love, generosity, kindness, and determination. It promotes and intensifies these traits in a person, besides making one more charismatic and appealing by conduct to others. A person with this stone clearly reflects on his generosity and love by his actions.
The bearer becomes more optimistic. He learns to lead a life full of peace and harmony. GEM STONES ::
